Partial Proceeds Night- Flippers

Come and enjoy great food while also getting the opportunity to meet your NMSA officers, as well as your fellow students from the Nonprofit network at UCF!! 

This upcoming Tuesday, May 22nd,

 the Nonprofit Management Student Association (NMSA) 

will be hosting a partial proceeds night at Flippers Pizzeria. 

The event will be held from 6pm until 10pm. 

20% of the proceeds from the people there with NMSA will go to benefit NMSA. 

Which means it helps YOU! 

Remember: Please make sure you mention NMSA when ordering!!!

Volunteer Opportunity: Step Right Up! Volunteer Carnival

An invitation has been extended to anyone who would be interested in participating in United Way’s Step Right Up! volunteer carnival. Volunteers MAY get class credit for this event if needed and this event is wonderful because volunteers get exposure to several nonprofit organizations in the community and can bring spouses, children, and friends, as this is a free community wide event. Please read the information below and if you are interested in participating, please contact Carole letting her know what job you're interested in volunteering for at carole.becker@knights.ucf.edu.

Event: Step Right Up! volunteer carnival
 

Date: Saturday, April 21
 

Carnival time: 10am to 1pm
 

Location: Heart of Florida United Way (open field next to United Way offices), 1940 Traylor Blvd., Orlando, FL 32804

Description: Step Right Up! is a family-friendly carnival complete with free games, prizes, food, and activities. Held in honor of National Volunteer Week, Step Right Up! will have on-site volunteer projects for attendees to help complete, and each game booth will feature a great nonprofit who can tell attendees how they can get involved in supporting the nonprofit’s mission

Benefits for volunteers: Volunteers will receive a free LIVE UNITED t-shirt and free lunch.

Here are a list of volunteer jobs – these are called ‘ring leader’ positions.

Set up team: up to 50 people needed, 7am to 10am

Tear down team: up to 50 people needed, 1pm to 2pm
Kiddy Corral: 9-12 needed; would be broken into three 1-hour shifts from 10am to 1pm

Parking lot monitors: 9-12 needed; would be broken into three 1-hour shifts from 10am to 1pm

Clowns: 4-5 needed, 10am to 1pm

Bounce house monitor: 9-12 needed; would be broken into three 1-hour shifts from 10am to 1pm

Registration table: 9-12 needed; would be broken into three 1-hour shifts from 10am to 1pm

Partial Proceeds Night at Flippers

On Tuesday April 3rd, the Nonprofit Management Student Association (NMSA) will be hosting a partial proceeds night at Flippers Pizzeria. The event will be held from 6pm until 9pm and money raised will go towards fundraising for Relay for Life. Please support us in supporting a great cause!

Relay for Life T-Shirts

Orders are now being accepted for Relay for Life t-shirts. If you are on the NMSA relay team, you MUST order a shirt as they are required to be worn on the day of the event. Shirts are $8 each and a picture of the design can be found below.
