Partial Proceeds Night at Flippers


On Tuesday April 3rd, the Nonprofit Management Student Association (NMSA) will be hosting a partial proceeds night at Flippers Pizzeria. The event will be held from 6pm until 9pm and money raised will go towards fundraising for Relay for Life. Please support us in supporting a great cause!

Relay for Life T-Shirts

Orders are now being accepted for Relay for Life t-shirts. If you are on the NMSA relay team, you MUST order a shirt as they are required to be worn on the day of the event. Shirts are $8 each and a picture of the design can be found below.


The last day to order t-shirts is Monday, March 26th. If you'd like to place your order or have questions, please contact Carole at carole.becker@knights.ucf.edu.

NMSA Elections!

A few weeks ago we posted that elections were going to be held for next year's officers. Well, the time is here! Elections will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 which is also the date of our next NMSA meeting. The following offices are open: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Historian. If you would like a description of each position's duties and eligibility requirements, click HERE. If any of these positions interest you, please come ready to present yourself at the meeting which will be held at 4:30pm in the Classroom 1 building room 122.

Congo River Mini-Golf Fundraiser

One of our nonprofit groups is hosting a social as their semester fundraiser. The event is an NMSA social at Congo River Golf for new, current and old members as well as a chance to meet your fellow Relay for Life team members before the big day! Everyone attending is welcome to bring friends :))

The tickets are $10.00 (usually $12.00 at the golf place) and never expire so tickets may be bought even if you cannot attend the social on March 23rd.  ALL of the proceeds will go to the AMI trip in January :)

Cars for the Cure Car Show


This video is from last year's Cars for the Cure car show. Tomorrow we'll be volunteering at the American Lung Association's annual event. If you signed up as a volunteer for tomorrow's event, you can expect to help with beverage pouring, event day fundraising, registration, and more. More event details below:

[Pics] Harvest Time International - 1/28/12


This past Saturday, a group of our students lent their service to Harvest Time International. Time was spent sorting goods to be sold at discounted prices, making them affordable for struggling families. Much of Harvest Time's goods are also sent as relief aide to disaster victims around the world. Thank you to all who participated!

Upcoming NMSA Event: Miracle Walk Miles

On Saturday September 24, 2011, over 3,500 dedicated athletes are expected to fill the streets of Arnold Palmer Medical Center for the 13th Annual Miracle Miles 15K Run, 5K Run/Walk, Kids' Fun Run and Walk-Around-Winnie. 

Miracle Miles benefits the Alexander Center for Neonatology at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
