June 26, 2012 – 4:30pm


        I.            Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 4:39 p.m. by President Carole Becker

      II.            President’s Address
a.      Problems and Concerns
                                                              i.      Volunteer Events
1.      Cell phones should not be used during event
2.      Please place phones on vibrate or silent
                                                            ii.      Volunteer Etiquette
1.      It is incumbent of us to present ourselves well and remain professional at all times as we are representing UCF & NMSA
2.      Positive conversations are welcome, but please refrain from engaging in any negative conversations
3.      Closed toe shoes are mandatory
4.      Short shorts are prohibited
                                                          iii.      Carpooling
1.      Contact lead officer for assistance

1.      Submit all inquiries to nmsa.ucf@gmail.com
a.      Responses will be received within 24 hours
                                                             v.      Booking Room in Student Union
1.      Only officers can book rooms
2.      Room requests must be submitted to the president two weeks prior to event
3.      Please include the date, time and description of the event
                                                           vi.      New Additions/Changes
1.      Meeting Agendas - will be provided during all meetings
a.      All meeting dates will be provided the first day of class
2.      Suggestion Box – Will be available at the beginning of class for students to anonymously express concerns, suggestions, feedback, etc.
3.      Name Tags – Will be provided by the lead officer during volunteer events effective immediately
4.      AMI meetings will be conducted during fall 12 semester
                                                         vii.      Competency Development Workshops
1.      Workshops will be provided outside of normal class hours
2.      Members will be required to sign-up in order to reserve a seat
3.      Minimum requirement – 25 members
